Finance <br /> The salary and wages account for Real Property was increased to enable the <br /> division to address short-term rental properties and to reflect payroll requirements. <br /> Operating and equipment accounts were amended to restore previous reductions. <br /> Vehicle Registration and Licensing will be purchasing printers for compatibility with <br /> the State system and will be upgrading the security system at various locations as <br /> mandated by RealiD requirements. The salary and wages account was amended to <br /> reflect personnel changes and payroll requirements. <br /> Armored car service will be utilized by the Treasury division for daily deposits. <br /> Corporation Counsel <br /> The amended budget includes increases for special counsel and settlement/ <br /> litigation, and to restore funding for staff training. <br /> Planning <br /> The salary and wages account reflects delayed filling of positions and adjustments <br /> for payroll requirements. The amended budget also includes adjustments to various <br /> operating accounts and to purchase a much needed replacement vehicle. <br /> Human Resources <br /> The amended budget restores previous adjustments to salary and wages, training <br /> and computer equipment accounts. <br /> Research & Development <br /> Changes were made to the salary and wages account to restore a previously <br /> unfunded position. Other changes include additional support for business and <br /> socioeconomic development and promotion of Hawaii island. <br /> Public Works <br /> The General Services budget includes restored funding for a previously unfunded <br /> position and for necessary maintenance equipment. <br /> The Admin division budget was amended to meet the operating and computer <br /> equipment needs of the division. <br /> Funds are provided to the Automotive division to replace a much needed vehicle and <br /> to restore staff training. <br />
