REQUEST: <br /> Prepare County Council submittal authorizing the County of Hawaii Public Works Department to enter into a <br /> Lease Agreement for a multi-year term for lease of space used by the Traffic Division in Kealakekua. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The County of Hawaii Public Works Department currently leases parking and storage space at 81-6394 <br /> Hawaii Belt Road in Kealakekua. The current lease expires on July 31, 2018 and the Department desires to <br /> extend the lease for a longer term to coincide with their neighboring office and warehouse lease which will <br /> expire on April 30, 2020.
