BRILHANTE: Chair, William Brilhante, HR <br /> <br />9 <br />Director. The items we're going to be discussing <br /> <br />10 <br />first is the collective bargaining agreements -- the <br /> <br />11 <br />status and updates regarding the CBAs. As you may or <br /> <br />12 <br />may not know, the State through HRS has designated <br /> <br />13 <br />four exclusive units to represent all of the County <br /> <br />14 <br />employees that come under the collective bargaining <br /> <br />15 <br />status or civil service status -- union, you know, <br /> <br />16 <br />status. <br /> <br />17 <br />We have -- first is UPW, which is the United <br /> <br />18 <br />Public Workers. UPW is, currently, under a four-year <br /> <br />19 <br />contract that expires two years from now. And we've <br /> <br />20 <br />gone with -- those salaries have been captured and <br /> <br />21 <br />identified.
