And so, the only thing government had in the <br />2 <br />old days -- you're a young man, so my old days is <br />3 <br />different than yours -- was to make coming to <br />4 <br />government a little more attractive. And so, what was <br />5 <br />given was not so much a salary, but it was the benefits <br />6 <br />of retirement, medical, and all of that. But nowadays, <br />7 <br />it's shifted because it's much more, in some cases -- <br />8 <br />especially small business -- beneficial to work for <br />9 <br />government. <br />10 <br />It is in that area that I think, if you look <br />11 <br />at what's happened in the past few years -- and it's <br />12 <br />getting better -- that they really cut down the <br />13 <br />benefits, for example, of medical, your share versus <br />14 <br />government's share, retirement, et cetera, et cetera, <br />15 <br />who is eligible, spouse, et cetera -- on the medical. <br />16 <br />And it's getting better. And we've got a ways to go. <br />17 <br />But, still within that, we're having a hard time getting <br />18 <br />certain kind of employees to work for government. <br />19 <br />There's never a shortage of running for mayor -- thank <br />20 <br />goodness. I'll leave that alone. <br />21 <br />But, you're right. We constantly have to look <br />22 <br />at -- and make it fair.
