However, there were <br />logistical issues due to the <br />possibility of inadequate or poor <br />connectivity that causes a <br />disconnection with the <br />committee, that would require the <br />meeting to be terminated due to <br />Sunshine Law requirements. <br />Member Alcoran volunteered to <br />decline mileage reimbursement, <br />and her request was honored. <br />Discussion of face-to-face <br />meetings were discussed. The <br />outcome is that the meetings will <br />be held, as alternating sites <br />between Hilo and Kona, every <br />other month from 10 am - 12 pm. <br />November and December will be <br />deleted as meeting months. The <br />new calendar will be on a 10 <br />month cycle (November and <br />December will be deleted), on the <br />3rd Wednesday of the month. If <br />the Committee needs to revisit <br />midyear, then can adjust further <br />meetings should the budget <br />prohibit committee meetings in <br />person. <br />Chair Walters encouraged to <br />contact her for any ideas of <br />possible future guest speakers. <br />Member Punihaole recommended <br />Dora Aiu (Laio Pua Community <br />Association) in a prior <br />conversation as a possible gues <br />that she could invite as a special <br />guest to present her program at <br />the October meeting. <br />Committee members of the <br />executive committee will be held <br />immediately after each meeting. <br />Prior discussion covers this <br />content area and the annual report <br />will reflect the concerns of the <br />committee members.
