C. Committee By-laws <br />D Reports from subcommittees <br />Hawai 'i County is an equal opportunity provider and employer. <br />to be efficient and considerate of <br />the Mayor's numerous <br />community commitments. <br />The letter from Christina Raines <br />(Office of Aging) containing <br />reporting requirements from the <br />committee was read to the <br />members. The report would be <br />part of the Office of Aging to the <br />County Department of Finance. <br />The committee report will contain <br />action items conducted by the <br />committee for the period of July <br />1, 2018 to June 309, 2019. The <br />request by Ms. Raines is to have a <br />Committee report of that Fiscal <br />Year 2020-2021. <br />Chair Walters advised that <br />changes to the committee must be <br />with full knowledge of the <br />contents of the by-laws. <br />The members were reminded to <br />report on their sub -committee <br />reports on a monthly basis. <br />Member Alcoran indicated her <br />continuing efforts to follow up on <br />the Safety subcommittee (two <br />items pending). She will also be <br />following up with the safety <br />issues at the Kohala schools. <br />Member Punihaole indicated that <br />she will continue to do <br />community outreach to impacted <br />groups. Her reflections are that <br />some of these community groups <br />are well-connected with other <br />community groups. Chair <br />Walters will be working on the <br />360 guest speaker to address the <br />matter of preparedness and <br />persons with disabilities.
