<br /> <br />Page 27 <br /> <br />1 <br />everything just moves forward smoother, you know. <br /> <br />2 <br />And, hopefully, we can identify areas maybe where, <br />3 <br />you know, things are leaking or bleeding or not being <br />4 <br />addressed. And we can, you know, apply the appropriate <br />5 <br />attention to each of the items much easier, faster, you know, <br />6 <br />as we move forward with -- you know, and we're doing this <br />7 <br />type of, you know, analytical work and repetitive work. <br />8 <br />So much of what takes place is time consuming. <br />9 <br />And if we can cut down the time to do the same job, it just <br />10 <br />makes it so much more advantageous, not only for the County, <br />11 <br />the department, but for our employees as well. You know, <br />12 <br />just the fact of having to do the same thing over and over <br />13 <br />again, it's just such a mental strain. So our goal is <br />14 <br />hopefully by, you know, this incorporation we can reduce that <br />15 <br />and maybe get more satisfaction from our employees. <br />16 <br />NAVRISK went live on November 1st and, so far, it's <br />17 <br />been doing pretty well. We're continuing to update and <br />18 <br />create new SOPs for the program so that our analysts can <br />19 <br />follow it, you know, succinctly, again, with everybody on the <br />20 <br />same page. <br />21 <br />We've also continued with our special projects. <br />22 <br />What we've identified is some areas of employee engagement <br />23 <br />and safety performance, accountability, and costs.
