KERN: I too have to head to Civil Defense so I will be available by phone, Deputy Jeff Darrow
will be available, and we have staff and we support the project. So, I'll be logging out, thank
you guys very much.
REPLOGLE: Thank you sir. Okay, are there any further questions from the Commissioners?
RAFFIPIY: Mr. Chairman, I have a comment.
REPLOGLE: Yes, please Mr. Raffipiy.
RAFFIPIY: I went back and look at why and I think the reason why this project was scratched
from the list. They have more of higher priority project on the Capital Improvement Project
(CIP) and we all know we are here we are talking about how important this project is. We'd like
to see this project built, we'd like to see this facility built to improve the response and
dispatching on this island. So, I just don't want to comeback and see this project another 13
years from now, we need to get this project going, need to be done. That's all.
REPLOGLE: I would agree with you Commissioner Raffipiy. Is there anything else?
PERREIRA: One last thing, the project is moving forward bids are out I think you can ask
DPW, they can give you all the details, the plan is to move this forward quickly, soon. So, it is
very timely what we are all doing. Thank you guys and I'll be signing out now.
REPLOGLE: Okay. Thank you, sir. Anything else fellow Commissioners?
AU: Mr. Chair?
REPLOGLE: Yes, Mr. Au?
AU: So, it was just mentioned that DPW has an update for us, I'd like to hear to see where the
project's at, as far as it went out to bid and maybe DPW can give us a really brief update on that
just so for our peace of mind especially Commissioner Raffipiy. We want this project to move
forward so if they could just give us a really quick update.
REPLOGLE; Is there anybody here from the Department of Public Works?
TERRY: I'm not sure, this is Ron Terry. They may have also had to respond to the tsunami
warning if they are not showing up now. Is their video not active?
IMANAKA: No, were here can you hear me?
REPLOGLE: Yes.
TERRY: Yes.
10
EXHIBIT B
