MORIUCHL I'm sorry, what was the question?
TERRY: The change of condition, Dave related to the antenna tower, the tower and antenna, the
painting?
MORIUCHL Oh, yes. What we'd like to the original condition was to paint the tower and the
antenna. We'd like to change that to just the tower itself.
REPLOGLE: I'm sorry I didn't quite get what the change, I could hear you speaking but not
exactly what it was.
MORIUCHL Okay, this is in regards to the tower that is being proposed. The original
conditions noted that the tower and the antenna should be painted and so, I don't believe the
antenna typically get painted it's just the towers. I don't know if Larry Dietrick's around maybe
you can shed more light on that.
TERRY: This is Condition six (6) Commissioners, I believe.
MORIUCHL Yes, it is Condition 6. It says the Applicant shall paint the tower and antenna. So,
we'd like it to say just the tower.
LIN: Mr. Chair may I ask a question?
REPLOGLE: Yes, you may, please Mr. Lin.
LIN: For the Building Division, so, the painting of the antenna is or the tower is strictly
cosmetic it does not affect the useful life of the antenna at all?
MORIUCHL Ron, is Larry on this call?
TERRY: Yeah, hopefully Larry—
DIETRICK: I'm here sorry. Good morning everybody, this is Larry Dietrick from Banyan
Networks. Painting of the antennas typically does not affect the useful life and painting of the
tower is recommended on a regular basis to just avoid corrosion. Antennas typically are either
going to be white or gray and the tower itself would most likely be it's really the decision of the
County but, typically the tower would be painted some shade of gray or off-white.
LIN: Thank you no further questions.
AU AND CLARKSON: Both raised their hands.
AGUINALDO: Chair, I have a question.
REPLOGLE: Mr. Au, please you were first.
6
EXHIBIT B
