Page 12 <br />H.B. NO. IS% <br />I "Steel" means any covered product made of a ferrous metal <br />2 substance. <br />3 § -2 Waste and litter management; producer; <br />4 registration. (a) Beginning I , every producer <br />5 shall annually register with the department as an individual <br />6 producer responsibility organization or join a third -party <br />7 producer responsibility organization that is registered with the <br />8 department. Producers that are not registered as or have not <br />9 joined a producer responsibility organization shall not sell or <br />10 supply covered products in or into the State. <br />11 (b) Third -party producer responsibility organizations <br />12 shall establish a governance structure for their organization <br />13 that is managed by a board of directors comprised of producers <br />14 subject to this chapter. <br />15 (c) By and annually thereafter, every <br />16 registered producer responsibility organization shall submit <br />17 with their registration the following: <br />18 (1) A list of all their member producers and brands; <br />19 (2) An annual payment, as determined by the department; <br />20 and <br />2021-0546 HB HMSO-1 <br />M <br />
