The water quality and sediment monitoring were in response to litigation brought <br /> against the state for violations of the Clean Water Act. Sample sites were selected throughout the watershed to help <br /> assess the complete dynamics of the systems; many were in remote locations. The project team presented quarterly <br /> monitoring and inspection reports to the state and the public. Toxicity analysis was conducted on local species of <br /> interest as part of this project.
