Administrative Time Extension: On September 14, 2010, the Planning Director granted <br /> a 10-year administrative time extension to Condition B until August 21, 2020 (see <br /> Exhibit 4 of the application). <br /> 12. `Eho Street/Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway Intersection Improvements: Letters from <br /> both the State Department of Transportation-Highways Division and Public Works were <br /> submitted in 2007 and 2008 respectively confirming completion of intersection <br /> improvements in compliance with and satisfaction of Condition F. <br /> 13. `Eho Street Extension: County Council Resolution No. 235 13 was adopted on <br /> December 18, 2013 accepting dedication of the `Eho Street Extension fronting the subject <br /> parcel between Luhia Street and Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway as a public road, thus <br /> satisfying Condition D (see Exhibit 6 of the application). <br /> STATE AND COUNTY PLANS <br /> 14. Kona Community Development Plan (CDP): The Kona CDP,was adopted by <br /> Ordinance 08-131 on September 25, 2008 by the Hawaii County Council. The subject <br /> property is situated within the Kona Urban Area(KUA) and is situated partially within <br /> the Maka`eo and Kailua Village Redevelopment Regional Center TOD Areas. <br /> 18. Special Management Area (SMA): The subject property is not situated within the SMA <br /> and is located approximately 0.4 miles mauka of the nearest shoreline. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF SUBJECT PROPERTY AND SURROUNDING AREA <br /> 19. Subject Property: The subject 0.874-acre rezone area is part of a larger 4.61-acre <br /> property and is rectangular in shape and situated adjacent to the north of the Kona Coast <br /> Shopping Center.
