Ordinances or regulations including the General Plan. <br /> (2) Five hundred($500) dollars filing fee to cover publication and other <br /> administrative costs. <br /> (b) Notice and Hearing <br /> The notice and hearing procedures shall be the same as stipulated under <br /> Section 9-11(c)and(d),provided further that the Commission shall conduct <br /> a public hearing within a period of ninety calendar days from the receipt of <br /> a properly filed petition. <br /> (c) Decision and Order <br /> The procedures shall be the same as under Section 9-11(f). <br /> 9-23 Amendment of Special Management Area(SMA) Mgps <br /> (a) Amendments initiated by the Director: <br /> (1) Initiation: <br /> (A) The Director may at any time initiate amendments to the <br /> Special Management Area Boundaries. <br /> (B) The Commission, by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of its total <br /> membership,may direct the Director to initiate amendments <br /> to the Special Management Area boundaries. <br /> (C) The Director shall give notice of his intent to amend the <br /> Special Management Area boundaries to the Commission, <br /> the general public and the State Office of Planning, stating <br /> the initiation date and estimated completion date of review. <br /> The Director, upon completion of his review, shall submit <br /> the proposed amendments to the Commission. <br /> (2) Notice and Hearing: <br /> The notice and hearing procedures shall be the same as stipulated <br /> under Section 9-11(c) of this rule, provided further that the <br /> Commission shall conduct a hearing within a period of sixty <br /> calendar days from the submittal of the proposed amendments by <br /> the Director. <br /> (3) Grounds for Approval of Special Management Area Boundary <br /> Amendments: <br /> 9-26 <br />
