Merit Appeals Board <br />February 25, 2025 <br />So, I believe when the incidents occur, if security camera footage is available, they'll review <br />that. And I think if there's a claim to be made, it gets referred to Corporation Counsel for <br />follow-up. <br />MS. MATHEWS: `Cause County's self -insured on all of this, are they not? <br />MS. CABANAS: Moving along to the next report—MAB Divisional —Monthly Divisional <br />Activity Report for the month of January 2025. Okay, let's look at that one. <br />MAB Monthly Divisional Activity Report: January 2025 <br />MS. TOKIHIRO: In January our Personnel and Organizational Development Division was able <br />to bring in a trainer from Grant Management USA regarding that provided training on how to <br />search for and apply for grants, which was a great training because so many of our departments <br />now are looking at grants and finding more ways to supplement our own funding. So, that was <br />an exciting training for everyone to be —for people to be able to participate in, so that they can <br />get guidance on how to search that out. So, that was exciting in January. <br />We're always looking for ways to supplement training that is provided by the County with other <br />offerings that we don't have available, but that we can bring people in to provide additional <br />information. <br />A lot of our divisions in HR are really busy at this point, working on the new software that's <br />going to replace our current software, which is FRESH or Eden. And so, working on the Human <br />Resources Module, we have meetings every week and they're broken down by these various <br />Page 9 <br />
