<br /> EDUCATION Planner. Participated in launching an initiative to perform a
<br /> Master in Urban Studies, comprehensive update of the existing County of Hawaii Zoning &
<br /> Portland State University Subdivision Codes (Chapters 25 and 23)which had not been
<br /> Toulan School of Urban comprehensively reviewed since 1996 and 1993, respectively. Heather
<br /> Studies and Planning provided project outreach and logistical support for the initial round of
<br /> Bachelor in Quantitative four large community open house meetings that took place concurrently
<br /> Economics, University of with two separate staff teams facilitating the events.

<br /> support for a broad range of community-driven implementation projects
<br /> and actions across Hawaii County. Facilitated community meetings and
<br /> maintained ongoing relationships with community stakeholders for
<br /> various projects/interest areas. Drafted public relations pieces from email
<br /> blasts, public letters, talking points, and press releases. Assisted in the
<br /> conduct, design, and development of community planning projects
