She is passionate about sustainable, equitable, and safe urban <br /> mobility exemplified through her professional work and academic research <br /> such as "Alert Eyes Save Lives" professional report and "Cycling For All" <br /> Wr& academic research. Ms. Wisecup has actively collaborated on various projects <br /> aimed at enhancing active transportation infrastructure such as a pedestrian <br /> and bicycle safety analysis, trail wayfinding, recreational waterways route <br /> • ` planning, and grant applications to enhance walking and biking in <br /> communities. In addition, Ms. Wisecup leverages the use of Geographic <br /> SSFM International Information Systems (GIS) in her work to analyze urban patterns and identify <br /> issues and areas of opportunity. <br /> EDUCATION REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br /> M.S. in Planning and Alert Eyes Save Lives: Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Campaign. <br /> Development, East Transportation Planner. Developed and implemented a comprehensive <br /> Carolina University, safety campaign addressing the rise in pedestrian and bicycle accidents in <br /> 2024 Jacksonville, NC. This project entailed a GIS-based crash data analysis to <br /> B.S. in Urban Planning, identify high-risk segments and intersections based on crash density and <br /> Universidad Simon injury severity. A crash data GIS dashboard was also created to inform the <br /> Bolivar, 2020 public of areas of concern for pedestrian and bicyclists. <br /> Paved Trails and Sidewalk Feasibility Study Grant Program. Grant Writer. <br /> Led a grant application for the Jacksonville Urban Area Metropolitan <br /> Planning Organization to evaluate a 12.5-mile trail in Jacksonville, NC. <br /> The purpose of this grant was to help communities elaborate a feasibility <br /> study so bicycle and pedestrian projects can be prepared to receive <br /> federal funding. Social, environmental, and planning data was collected to <br /> showcase the importance of the project for the community. <br /> Jacksonville Blueways Project. Transportation Planner and GIS Mapping. <br /> The Jacksonville Blueways project goal was to promote recreational <br /> mobility on the New River in Jacksonville NC. The project involved <br /> mapping water trails, documenting access points and community facilities, <br /> and creating an interactive story map to guide residents and visitors. <br /> City and County of Honolulu. Planner II. 2024. Bicycle Planner responsible <br /> for preparing and submitting grant application for the Active Transportation <br /> Infrastructure Investment Program to fund the 2026 Oahu Bike Plan. <br /> Developed a comprehensive application to renew the County's <br /> designation as a Bicycle Friendly Community. <br /> City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville, NC. Transportation Planner. 2022-2023. <br /> Identified pedestrian and bicycle safety issues. Researched and prepared <br /> grant applications.
