Liquor Commission Black Onyx Entertainment LLC dba Black Onyx Page 3 KIND OF BUSINESS: Applicant will operate as a bar; therefore, no minors will be allowed within the proposed licensed premises; it will be strictly for 21 years and older. Applicant plans to be open seven (7) days a week with the following hours of operation: • Monday: 6:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m., the following day • Tuesday: 6:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., the following day • Wednesday: 6:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., the following day • Thursday: 6:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., the following day • Friday: 6:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., the following day (may extend to 4:00 a.m. for permitted special events) • Saturday: 6:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., the following day + Sunday: 6:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. the following day (may extend to 4:00 a.m. for permitted special events) Applicant is aware that food service will need to be available to its customers at all times when they are open for business. Employment will consist of approximately nine (4) employees, three (3) of which will be certified by the Department of Liquor Control to supervise the sale, service and consumption of liquor. Applicant will have live entertainment consisting of live music, DJ's, open mic nights, poetry slams and comedy shows. Applicant will start its live entertainment at 8:00 p.m. and will end with enough time to ensure that they can close at their designated closing time. AGREEMENT OF LEASE: This Agreement of Lease ("Lease") made on September 1, 2024, by and between INCA 206 LLC ("Landlord") and Tasmine Curenton ("Tenant"), regarding 202 Kamehameha Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii ("premises"), having commenced on November 1, 2024 and expiring on October 31, 2026. The Lease further states "[t]he premises shall be used exclusively for the purposes of a social club. Tenant may serve liquor, food, and have live entertainment, where [T]enant obtains permits from the County of Hawaii or State of Hawaii."
