Pung stated that CSW needs another chairperson to coordinate the Womens Hall of Fame next year. N. Kelly volunteered to chair the event with assistance from C. Ka-ipo. C. Ka-ipo suggested that N. Kelly research the different hotels that is ADA accessible to host the dinner. 6. Equal Pay D. Pung reported that she will contact Annelle Amaral to present a mini workshop in April 2007. B. Health 1. Womens Health Month E. Takazawa reported that she received a thank you letter for assisting with the Ladies Night Out sponsored by the Hui Malama Ola Na Oiwi. It will be held next year in September to coincide with Womens Health Month. E. Takazawa stated that she would like to have a presentation on Hooponopono. Perhaps CSW could have a luncheon focusing on Hooponopono, but the committee has not budgeted for this presentation. However, S. Newland suggested that CSW speak with new council members Brenda Ford and Emily Naeole and ask for their assistance with funding. C. Ka-ipo offered to assist E. Takazawa with this presentation. E. Takazawa mentioned that she recruited a woman to do the Tellington Touch onourpets. C.Liaison 1. HSCSW M. Masunaga reported there will be a Womens History Month reception to be held on Thursday, March 22, 2007, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Washington Place on Oahu. On February 12-13, 2007, there will be a Hiroshima Womens Educational Center representative who is going to be in Kona. M. Masunaga said she will try to find out if they wanted to meet with people in the community specifically relating to the domestic violence clearinghouse hotline. Sachiko Takato is the person from Hiroshima that will be here. A tentative meeting with Senator Colleen Hanabusa has been scheduled with S. Takato on February 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. The Pay Equity Task Force meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 16 at the Lt. Governors Conference Room. The HSCSW meeting will also be held on February 16, 2007 at 1 p.m. 3
