SENIORS STILL RIDE FREE ON THE HELE-ON BUS

The Hawai‘i County Mass Transit Agency provides public transportation around the
island on the Hele-On bus. Recently a $1.00 fare was set for all island-wide scheduled
routes. However, if you are a senior with proper ID you can still ride the bus for FREE!
CSE issues the Hawai‘i County Senior ID Card for island residents who are 60 years or
older. Just stop by any of our offices and let us issue you a new picture senior ID card.
You can also check out the senior ID schedule shown to the right for times and locations
near you or just call our hotline for more information and assistance at 961-8777.

In addition, the Mass Transit Agency also offers a Shared Ride Taxi program which provides
door to door transportation for as little as $2.00 within the urbanized area of Hilo and Kona.
Call the Mass Transit Agency at 961-8744.

SENIOR IDENTIFICATION CARD SCHEDULE
OCTOBER
03, Mon.
