After the workshop the group realized that their goals were for too ambitious. The <br /> evaluations from the public and from the steering committee confirmed that while the facilitators were <br /> wonderful, the small groups needed trained facilitators. Once everyone broke into small groups, they <br /> lost focus because expectations were not clearly identified. Another top criticism was that there was <br /> too much to cover in too little time. <br /> At first the organizing group was deflated. This workshop did not meet their expectations. <br /> Everyone had volunteered long hours of hard work to prepare for this event. Gail and Diane had <br /> generously donated many pl-o bone hours to help them. In their excitement, the group had <br /> miscalculated by jumping prematurely into action planning.
