District Spot Light – South Hilo <br /> <br />The Coordinated Services for the Elderly South Hilo district is the largest of all 8 CSE districts serving <br />over 1,300 seniors annually. The S. Hilo office is located in the Aging and Disability Resource Center, <br />lovingly known as ADRC or “The old Sun Sun Lau” in Hilo at 1055 Kino‘ole Street, Suite 106. <br /> <br />Christine Namahoe-Loo, CSPA has been the coordinator of the S. Hilo district since 2003 and has <br />been part of the CSE team since 1996. Helping to make sure operations run smoothly are 3 <br />Community Service Worker III positions and 7 Community Service Workers I positions. CSW III’s <br />are Karen Kotaki, Cynthia ‘Leihua’ Malani and Jun Ishimine. CSW I’s are Geraldine ‘Geri’ Lyman, <br />Patricia Dunn, Sophia Iaukea, Arlene Ohara and Reyn Maeno. Two positions are currently vacant. Also <br />helping out in S. Hilo are several RSVP volunteers including Charlie Kalahiki, Annie Aoki, Lillian <br />Watanabe, Jo Yokoyama and Bonnie Aceret. <br /> <br />There are two other CSE staff that you may not see out and about very often but who are an <br />important part of the CSE Ohana as well.
