H- no options for homelessness H- would like to see empty houses made available for homeless families Low Income Housing, Affordable Housing L- Affordable, decent housing choices for the plethora of disabled and low income folks here is extremely limited. People enjoy the open air off grid lifestyle Puna is famous for, and we should keep as many choices open for individuals and families as possible. But we also need to better accommodate those with special needs, with the goal of independence rather than institutionalization. L- Could use more low cost family housing. A lot of housing available, especially with the bad housing market, rent isn't always affordable for low income individuals though. L- Dire need for housing within social security income budget L- lots of county housing, lots of empty houses L- low cost housing L- Lower prices so everyone can live their dreams, owning own house. L- more low budget housing please L- more multi family L- NEED MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING. L- need more housing rentals that will except county housing section 8 L- need more informartion to comment, if we are speaking of public housing then there is little or none that I know of L- Need subsidized housing units as Section 8 wait lists are up to 5 years long. So many empty houses in Puna, so many homeless, there has to be a way to provide low income housing. L- need to have more access to affordable housing including decent rentals. L- Needs more affordable housing for low income families and the elderly. L- No affordable housing available L- More affordable housing is necessary along with the services that come with them. L- good housing resonable priced homes for all income L- Not enough affordable ,disability - accessible hsg L- Not too many opportunities especially affordable for families L- Ohanas should be permitted again in these tough economic times. L- own home L- Own home need a poor person/ 2 right facility L- Section 8 is nice but holds people back L- Seems as if affordable housing for our socioeconomic demographic is a challenge.
