L- Too many section 8 housing in the district. <br />L- Very challenged for poor income families. Houses are under cared for due to low <br />economic resource for home owners. <br />Housing in General <br />Housing in General: Positive Comments <br />P- Homes priced fairly, Beautiful area <br />P- There is good affordable housing in the area <br />P- I think that our housing around Puna is very good because most familys have houses <br />P- Its fair i guess but i dont live here <br />P- Just because something is poor or fair doesn't mean it needs improvement. <br />Housing in General: Negative Comments <br />N- All money for Cdp here. What is a Fopf. What do they have to do with district 6, &4? <br />N- I think there are too many houses in Puna. <br />N- I wish there was a way to limit speculators. <br />N- It's too expensive. <br />N- looks trashy <br />N- need to clean up homes & yard <br />N- Rich Mainlanders buying all property. Haoles ignorant at Hawaiian culture Dictating <br />Plan -They Horrible Rude, mean. <br />N- roaches smoke (cigarette) and mosquitos make life miserable <br />N- Too many dilapidated houses <br />Housing in General: Others <br />D- I would like to see more housing in the Pahoa Town area. it is very limited. <br />D- Extremely limited housing in town. <br />P- Great enviorment! ! <br />O- ALTHOUGH IT IS THE CHEAPEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND, IT COULD USE MORE. <br />O- Available <br />O- Do we need more apartments? <br />O- Don't understand what about housing is supposed to be good or bad. <br />O- I have never tried to look for a house in the area in question so it would be hard for <br />me to say what condition housing is in Pahoa Town. I have my own house and very <br />satisfied and I do not intend to move into the town area of this survey. <br />O- It seems there is housing available. There needs to be Hawaiian Home Lands housing <br />built and available for families to move into as soon as possible. <br />O- I've never lived in Pahoa <br />O- My cat owns his own house in Nanawale Estates <br />O- Need safe place for troubled teens to go - ASAP <br />O- no comment <br />Housing Page 4 <br />
