Hawai‘i Police Commission <br />Regular Session Minutes <br />December 21, 2012 <br />Page 11 <br /> HPC 12-32: Complainant alleged that officers took his medical marijuana. He also <br />alleged that an officer threatened him and refused to show his badge. Vice Chair <br />Ignacio moved to refer the complaint to the Police Chief for customer service, <br />procedural, and operational concerns as noted in the complaint. Commissioner <br />Marques seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> HPC 12-33: Complainant alleged that officers took her medical marijuana and did <br />not initially identify themselves. Commissioner Victorine moved to refer the <br />complaint to the Police Chief for customer service, procedural, and operational <br />concerns as noted in the complaint. Commissioner Schutte seconded the motion, <br />and it carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> HPC 12-34: Complainant alleged that officers took her medical marijuana. <br />Commissioner Horner moved to refer the complaint to the Police Chief for customer <br />service, procedural, and operational concerns as noted in the co <br />Commissioner Schutte seconded the motion, and it carried unanimo <br /> <br /> HPC 12-35: Complainant alleged that officers took medical marijuana from him and <br />did not give a receipt. Commissioner Marques moved to refer the complaint to the <br />Police Chief for customer service, procedural, and operational concerns as noted in <br />the complaint. Commissioner Victorine seconded the motion, and it carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> HPC 12-37: Complainant was arrested for disorderly conduct. She alleged that <br />officers were abusive, manhandled her, and ignored her medical condition. <br />Commissioner PeÒa-Ferrari moved that there was insufficient evidence to prove the <br />complainantÓs allegations of misconduct. Commissioner Marques seconded the <br />motion, and it carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> HPC 12-38: Complainant alleged that an officer would not make his assault report. <br />Commissioner Schutte moved to refer the Complaint to the Police Chief for <br />investigation by the Office of Professional Standards. Vice Cha <br />the motion, and it carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> HPC 12-40: Complainant alleged that an officer threatened him when he requested <br />to have his complaint reclassified. Commissioner Victorine moved to refer the <br />complaint to the Police Chief for an investigation by the Office of Professional <br />Standards. Commissioner Schutte seconded the motion, and it car <br />unanimously. <br /> HPC 12-41: Complainant alleged that proper notice was not given to Title 10 when <br />he was denied a gun permit. Commissioner Marques moved that there was <br />insufficient evidence to prove the complainantÓs allegations of misconduct. <br />Commissioner Schutte seconded the motion, and it carried unanimo <br /> <br /> <br />
