View Park. <br />• The AC approved and sent a letter of support <br />to the Public Access, ]pen Space & Natural <br />Resources Commission (PONC) for the <br />application submitted by members of the AC: <br />and community for the acquisition of vacant <br />lands adjacent to Vacationland Hawaii and <br />the wai `opae Marine Life Conservation <br />District (WMLCD). <br />• The AC approved and sent a letter to William <br />Aila, Chair of the Board of Land and Natural <br />Resources outlining the need for a <br />management plan for the WMLCD and <br />offering recommendations for solution to <br />some of the problems noted. <br />• AC sent letter to MTA interim manager <br />requesting collaboration to implement hub- <br />s and -s oke system for Puna_ - <br />• The Connectivity and Emergency Response <br />Subcommittee (CERSC), formerly the <br />Connectivity Action Plan Subcommittee, is <br />working in collaboration with Civil Defense, <br />Pol ice, Fire and the County Council to create <br />and conduct Emergency Response Mapping <br />"Make and Take" workshops to be held <br />throughout as many Puna subdivisions as <br />i possible. <br />• CERSC has developed a Connectivity Action <br />Plan and Connectivity Connection Criteria to <br />guide the process of establishing subdivision <br />connectivity going_ forward. -.. <br />• HDGT improvements at the Fulani Rd. and <br />Hwy I. I intersection have been completed. <br />• HDDT widening and restripi ng at `Ainaloa <br />Blvd. & Hwy. 130 intersection completed. <br />• HDOT widening and restriping at Grchidland <br />11 <br />
