Prepares procedural manuals and operating standards. <br />• Advises and assists management regarding various problems associated with <br />conversion to information technology. <br />• Works inclose cooperation with operations and other departmental staff and with <br />County level consultants in the field of information systems and analysis. <br />Conducts analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of systems and procedures. <br />• Integrates systems development with similar information technology of other <br />agencies: prepares correspondence and reports of work activities. <br />Performs computer programming as a secondary assignment. <br />• Performs other related duties as assigned. <br />Minimum Qualification Requirements: <br />Training and Experience: A combination of education and experience <br />substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university and <br />two and one-half (2 1/2) years of progressively responsible work experience which <br />involved the conduct of feasibility studies and the analysis and design of information <br />technology systems; and as applicable for positions requiring specific specializations, <br />six (6) months of experience in the applicable specialty areas. <br />Substitutions Allowed: <br />Excess experience at the fully competent level in computer systems <br />analysis, which involved the conduct of feasibility studies and the <br />analysis and design of information technology systems, may be <br />substituted for education on a one for one basis (i.e., one (1) year of <br />experience for one (1) year of education). <br />2. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in <br />Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management <br />Information Systems may be substituted for six (6) months of the required <br />information systems analysis experience. <br />3. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer <br />Science or Management Information Systems may be substituted for one <br />and one-half (1 1/2) years of the required information systems analysis <br />experience. <br />INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST IV -3- <br />Jfawai'i County is an EquaCopportanity Provider andEmpCoyer <br />
