This was one of many activities we enjoyed during our Waimea
excursion to the Cherry Blossom Festival. A great day to share in the shuttle bus tour,
visiting many craft booths and taking in the well planned entertainment.

Of course, the blooming trees were a beautiful sight. Five Grandmas took branches
either to plant or as bouquets.

Holiday Celebration!
A festive Christmas Party was held and well attended at the Coqui’s Hideaway restaurant.
Our waitress (standing) was very attentive and served us well.

Christmas Craft Time
Yes, another holiday activity was taking in the Christmas Craft Fair at Hilo High School.
The Christmas color red was everywhere.

Kupuna News 3 April - June 2009
