Annual Big Island Sr. Golf Tournament Cancelled <br /> <br />Sniff…sniff…The annual Big Island Sr. Golf Tournament scheduled for May 15th at the <br />Hāpuna Golf Course has been cancelled for this year. We hope with an improved <br />economy in the very near future, the tournament can once again be scheduled. <br />Mahalo for your kind understanding!! <br /> <br />New 70+ yrs. (Young) Softball Teams Being Organized <br /> <br />Age absolutely has no limits!! For any individual, with some ball playing experience, <br />eager to play for a team within your district, contact the nearest team manager within <br />your district. It will be fun meeting other players, as well as, revving-up your adrenaline, <br />plus receive a bit of exercise!! <br /> <br />The purpose of this league is to provide a recreational softball league for any male who <br />will be 70 years, and any female who will be 60 yrs. “young,” in the calendar year, 2009. <br />A player in this league, would also be able to participate in the current Hawai‘i Kupuna <br />Softball League, if already sign-up with a team. <br /> <br />The league season will consist of a round-robin schedule to be played from April 1st through <br />June 24th. All games will be played on Wednesdays, at 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Haina and <br />Walter Victor Fields. The first three Wednesdays of each month, will be round-robin play, and <br />the last Wednesday used for make-up games. <br /> <br />To contact a specific district team manager for further details, please call the Special Programs <br />office at (E.
