toilets and shower heads, the repair of water <br />leaks and the repair or upgrade of water catchment <br />systems; <br />3. Any improvements to remove, replace, repair or <br />upgrade a completed dwelling unit’s existing <br />plumbing system to comply with County Building <br />Code requirements; <br />4. Any improvements to remove, replace, repair or <br />upgrade unsafe electrical wiring and fixtures, or <br />to upgrade a completed dwelling unit’s existing <br />electrical system to comply with County Building <br />Code requirements; <br />5. Any improvements to replace, repair or upgrade the <br />structure of a completed dwelling unit if it was <br />constructed contrary to the provisions of the <br />County Building Code; <br />6. Removal of architectural barriers and/or the <br />construction of handicap improvements for the <br />benefit of disabled household members; <br />7. Connecting to the County sewer system and/or the <br />backfilling of any cesspool; <br />8. Construction of a new septic system or cesspool; <br />9. Fumigation when there is evidence of termite <br />infestation; <br />10. Construction of additional bedrooms or bathrooms <br />when an overcrowded household condition exists; <br />11. Interim controls of lead-based paint. <br />12. The installation of a solar water heater. <br />c. Ineligible Improvements: <br />1. Air conditioning, unless necessary for medical <br />reasons (supporting medical documents to be <br />provided by applicant); <br />2. New additions such as a den or family room not <br />necessary to correct an overcrowded condition; <br />3.
