• <br />(f) <br />• <br />(g) <br />The Department shall also have the right to use the structure, <br />equipment -or any part thereof, at any time after it is considered <br />by the Engineer as available. In the event that the structure, <br />equipment or any part thereof is so used, the County shall be <br />responsible for all expenses incidental to such use and arty <br />damages resulting therefrom. <br />If the Department enters the structure for construction and/or <br />occupancy and the Contractor is delayed beceuse of interference <br />by the Department or by extra work resulting from damage which <br />the Contractor is not responsible for, the Contractor shall be <br />granted an extension of time in accordance with Subsection 8.8 <br />"CONTRACT TflE'. Any additional work necessary will be paid in <br />accordance with Subsection 9.4 "PAYMENT FOR ADDITIONAL WORK". <br />Field Office - Unless otherwise noted in the specifications, the <br />Contractor shall furnish for use by the Inspectors an approved <br />weatherproof building. The building shall be located conveniently <br />near the construction and shall be separated from any building <br />used by the Contractor. The floor space shah be not less than <br />150 square feet with a minimum dimension of 10 feet. The ceiling <br />shall not be less than eight (8) feat in height, and there shall <br />be at least three single sash lighting windows with wire mesh <br />protective screen. The building shall be furnished with a wooden <br />locker large enough for the storing of Implements and testing <br />equipment and with one (1) bracketed wall table at least three (3) <br />feet by six (6) feet in dimensions. The Contractor shall also <br />furnish adequate light and power and local telephone service. No <br />direct payment will be made for expense in connection therewith. <br />The Contractor will also pay all paver and telephone bills which are <br />incurred during construction. The cost thereof shall be included <br />in the price bid for the various items of the contract. <br />The Contractor unless otherwise noted in the specifications shall <br />maintain an office, equipped with a telephone, connected with <br />local telephone service during the continuance of his contract <br />and shall have in said office at all times during working hours <br />a representative authorized to receive drawings, notices, letters <br />or other communications from the Engineer; and such drawings, <br />notices, letters or other communications given or received by <br />such representative shall' be, use=ed..tu-.e, re' 'Leen i-rcn;.to • acid <br />received by the Contractor. <br />Proiect Sien The Contractor shall furnish and place a project <br />signs where directed.
