The approved <br />project sign(s) shall be rigidly and firmly braced and securely <br />attached to the supports and shall be so constructed to withstand <br />wind pressure of not less than 30 pounds per square foot of area <br />subject to pressure. <br />The cost shall be included in the price bid for the various items <br />of the project. <br />542_COMMEg MENi' REO.UZRE TS - Prior to beginning operations, the Contractor <br />shall submit the following to the Engineer for approval: <br />(a) Superintendent or authorized representatives on the jobsite (See <br />Subsection 5.6 "COOPERATION BETWEEN THE CONTRACTOR AND THE <br />DEPARTMENT"). <br />(b) Working hours on the job (See Subsection 8.2 "WORKING HOURS"). <br />(c) List of subcontractorss if any (See Subsection 7.1(k) ''List of <br />Joint Contractor and/or Subcontractors''). <br />(d) Breakdown cost for monthly estimates (See Subsection 3.8 ''SCHEDULE <br />OF PRICES ") . <br />(e) Prooi of insurance coverage for the project (See Subsection 7.12 <br />'INSURANCE") . <br />(f) Progress schedule (See Subsection 8.4 'PROGRESS SCHEDULE") . <br />(g) License and permits (See Subsection 7.3 "LICENSES AND PERMITS"). <br />Until such time as the above items are approved, the Contractor shall not <br />be allowed to commence on any operations. <br />�8 Iii?SPECTIQN - The Engineer at all times shall have access to the work during <br />its construction and shall be furnished with every reasonable facility for <br />ascertaining at any time that the materials and the workmanship are in accordance <br />with the requirements and intentions of the contract.
