MASUDA: Good morning, Chairman. Good morning, <br />12 members of the Commission. <br />13 As I've told you before, and Jack has talked about, <br />14 and you folks have all the submissions there from the other <br />15 counties, your County prosecutors and corporation counsels <br />16 are the lowest paid in the State. Someone has to be the <br />17 bottom, but that's not something to achieve for. <br />18 Jack brought up something that I neglected to bring <br />19 up last time, too, is that when you're on call, there is no <br />20 compensation. When I was the Drug Task Force Deputy from <br />21 194 -- yeah, Jack was the first one -- so like '94 to 2001, <br />22 unlike the regular rotation, you carry the drug pager <br />23 24 hours a day, all year long. There's no other <br />24 compensation.
