HARANO: So, Ms. Sako, these increases, <br />4 if we have effective July lst, where is that money <br />5 going to be coming from? <br />6 MS. SAKO: So the July lst budget has not <br />7 been set yet. We're in the process of working on that. <br />8 March lst we submit the first draft to the County <br />9 Council, and then May 5th is our final budget; because <br />10 real property taxes will not be certified until April, <br />11 so we're still working on a draft budget. So the <br />12 sooner we have the information from the Salary <br />13 Commission, you know, the sooner, you know, we -- the <br />14 better information we have, I guess, to plan. But the <br />15 raises that were already approved we did pay out in <br />16 this -- <br />17 MR. HARANO: Right. <br />18 MS. SAKO: -- last paycheck. And so, whatever <br />19 date you do it -- for the current year, I already have <br />20 money in that provision for compensation adjustment, <br />21 but coming for the future, it's like every other <br />22 employee's raise or any other cost the County has dealt <br />23 with.
