BRILHANTE: William Brilhante, Acting <br />8 Director, Department of Human Resources. <br />9 Ms. Self is correct in that, you know, as far <br />10 as, you know, the Salary Commission, the clerical <br />11 support for the commission comes from our office <br />12 pursuant to the Charter. And that's the role that <br />13 Glynis primarily plays, with scheduling the meetings <br />14 and the like. We also have, you know, Ms. Sakamoto <br />15 who, you know, does quite a bit of the work for the <br />16 commission in preparing, you know, the salary <br />17 ordinances when they're authorized and, you know, <br />18 making sure that all the legal requirements are <br />19 satisfied and met. <br />20 And so with that in mind, you know, the <br />21 clerical component of the commission entails the <br />22 expenditures for having the meetings, for the mileage <br />23 reimbursement, for ensuring, you know, that the proper <br />24 notices are complied with statutorily.
