And I think, you know, that's <br />5 something that should be considered and discussed <br />6 moving forward that's going to have to -- those costs <br />7 just don't -- we just can't write blank checks as it <br />8 relates to those costs. In some shape or form, you <br />9 know, we have to address that through a budgetary item <br />10 and then moving forward. So that's our concern from <br />11 the clerical support standpoint. <br />12 MR. PAVAO: One more comment, if I may. As <br />13 Amy mentioned, you decide on a increase, you go to <br />14 public hearing. Depending on what they say, you may <br />15 have to change that. Then you have to go back to <br />16 public hearing. It could be a never-ending situation. <br />17 MR. HIGGINS: Yep. <br />18 MS. SELF: Uh-huh. <br />19 MR. PAVAO: And, again, I repeat I don't <br />20 think pay raises -- equitable pay raises -- should be <br />21 subject to public hearing. I mean, that's my opinion. <br />22 CHR.
