I'm going to start off <br />with an introduction on this. In my past life in <br />public service, I've been both an appointed official as <br />well as a division head. And so, when I first became <br />the head of the Department of Public Works, I was in <br />the same position that these appointees are now. So, <br />basically, salary was set by -- I don't know whether <br />the Salary Commission was in effect at that time, but <br />there was a set salary for that position.
