Brilhante, dated April 18th, 2018, <br />2 transmitting a chart outlining the anticipated pay <br />3 increases concerning various collective bargaining <br />4 units, effective on July lst, 2017 through June 30th, <br />5 2019 and July lst, 2017 through June 30th, 2021. The <br />6 applicable bargaining units to review are: BU -04, White <br />7 Collar Supervisory; BU -11, Fire Fighters; BU -12, Police <br />8 Officers; and BU -13, Professional and Scientific. And <br />9 these are the bargaining units that actually affect the <br />10 positions that they report to or the department heads <br />11 that these members of these bargaining units fall <br />12 under. The others that are listed there are not <br />13 applicable (SEE ATT. D). <br />14 So, I believe that Mr. Brilhante or his <br />15 <br />representative is <br />prepared to <br />discuss, and these are <br />16 <br />this table here. <br />Okay? It's <br />been handed out to us. <br />17 But it has Bargaining Units 1 through 36, of which four <br />18 of them apply; so I had suggested a briefing to tell us <br />19 what is going on with this. And, as a result of this <br />20 briefing, I thought what I would do is prepare another <br />21 worksheet for us at our next meeting which will show <br />22 what the existing salaries are, what the new salaries <br />23 would be for the positions that report to these <br />24 department heads, and then we can decide whether it's <br />25 appropriate to take any action with another salary <br />ISLAND COURT REPORTING & TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES <br />(808) 933-9800 <br />
