ONO: I watched the video, and I didn't <br />8 show up at the meeting intentionally because I just <br />9 wanted to see what the County Council was going to do <br />10 with it. And Eileen O'Hara spoke out against it because <br />11 she said we have time to make changes and, you know, <br />12 the election is not until November. And so she said, <br />13 "We have time to make changes as suggested by this <br />14 testimony." But in the wisdom of the County Council, <br />15 they decided not to -- they just wanted to pass it, so <br />16 they did. So that kind of, you know, is discouraging <br />17 to me, so... <br />18 MR. BRILHANTE: Chair, may I add just a point <br />19 of clarification? <br />20 CHR. ONO: Sure. <br />21 MR. BRILHANTE: Just so that everybody is on <br />22 the same page going forward, this bill is just a <br />23 proposed amendment to the charter.
