Page 16 <br />1 MR. DOW: I have a question of Bill. These <br />2 changes in pay are very dynamic. I look at what has <br />3 been awarded in union contracts which will then be <br />4 reflected in EM salaries, and I would like to know what <br />5 events during the year result in changes in pay. <br />6 You've got step movements. You've got across-the-board <br />7 increases. You've got bonuses. You've got contractual <br />8 pay related to overtime. I'd like an enumeration of <br />9 the factors that influence pay changes, how often <br />10 they're occurring. Are they on anniversary dates of <br />11 employment? Are they at the first of the year? Are <br />12 they biannual? How does that work? <br />13 MR. BRILHANTE: You know, that's good <br />14 information to have, and that's definitely something <br />15 that our department will be able to provide the <br />16 Commission members with going forward. And I think <br />17 once we re-agendize that item regarding salaries and <br />18 adjustments, I think that's great information to have, <br />19 and we'll make sure that we are able to provide that <br />20 information to you.
