DOW: I was going back through the <br />4 testimony from the chair of the board overseeing the <br />5 Fire Department. Name was Becker, I believe -- Robert <br />6 Becker -- and he was presenting information. I was <br />7 wondering where he got the information. I think he had <br />8 a statement that, in 2016, there were 20 -some -odd <br />9 captains who were paid more than the chief of the <br />10 department. So, where did he get that? Is that <br />11 information available through HR? <br />12 MR. BRILHANTE: Quite honestly, I'm not sure <br />13 where that information came from. I'm not sure if any <br />14 of our personnel provided the fire commission chair <br />15 that information but, historically, that information <br />16 does come from our office. And I'm not sure; maybe for <br />17 that particular purpose the fire commission chair may <br />18 have requested that information directly from the fire <br />19 department because I'm not aware of any requests that <br />20 came to our office. And I see my classification and <br />21 pay division head, she's shaking her head as well that <br />22 we didn't provide that information. It did not come <br />23 from our office, so I can't really answer your question <br />24 at this time as to where that information came from. <br />25 MR.
