DOW: I would like to know, for instance, <br />6 what was the top gross pay last year? I guess you <br />7 recently sent out W-2 forms or is that -- regarding <br />8 pay -- gross pay. I would like to know in which <br />9 departments the highest -grossed pay did not go to the <br />10 department head and whether the action we've taken on <br />11 salary increases has rectified that. <br />12 MR. BRILHANTE: You know, I'm just going to <br />13 give a cautionary note here. I think we're kind of <br />14 getting into the weeds for an item that is not really <br />15 on our agenda right now. That's definitely a <br />16 discussion we can have down the road. <br />17 Just one cautionary note going forward is I <br />18 just want to say when we look at gross pay, the <br />19 assumption from our department's perspective is that an <br />20 employee's gross pay would be inclusive of overtime <br />21 payments; and as it relates to this Salary Commission, <br />22 I think there's a specific provision that as we set the <br />23 salaries of the department heads and deputies, that <br />24 we're not supposed to consider overtime.
