It gives you some – <br />MARTIN: But you still have one amendment that can be voted on and voters don’t have line veto. <br />HERKES: One question, yes. <br />IRVINE: No. <br />HERKES: No. I don’t think so. I think that – <br />MARTIN: Then why don’t we start categorizing some other ones, because there’s three separate <br />questions in there. <br />KUROZAWA: Chris, I think you forgot the Fire Chief in here too. It looks like. <br />HERKES: We did that under number 3. <br />KUROZAWA: What’s that? Am I looking at the wrong section? <br />HIGASHI: The Fire Commission. <br />HERKES: Oh no, we didn’t. Right. <br />KUROZAWA: No, but what I’m saying is in this section, the Fire Chief requirements were strengthened <br />and it’s not listed in 7. It looks like you’re itemizing all of the department heads that are listed so I think <br />Fire Chief – <br />SANTANGELO: These are department heads. <br />IRVINE: Probably because we put that one in about Fire Commission. Do we have it in there? <br />YOSHIYAMA: Yes, it’s in number 3. <br />KUROZAWA: Okay. <br />IRVINE: Yes, I think so. I think that’s why. <br />HERKES: ‘Appoint the Fire Chief and advise the Fire Department.’ That doesn’t say increase <br />qualifications. <br />YUEN: No, you’re correct.
