CHAIRMAN SCHUTTE : This meeting is now reconvened. <br /> Are there any comments on the presentation by Bill Kikuchi <br /> that the members may want to deliberate on? <br /> MR. OMONAKA: Mr. Chairman , can we refer this for <br /> formal action at the next meeting and make it part of our agenda? <br /> CHAIRMAN SCHUTTE : Yes, I am quite sure it can be <br /> referred to our next meeting. The record will so show that. <br /> Any comments on Chairman Yamashiro' s text? If there <br /> are no comments we will go on. <br /> APPROVAL The Chair called for the approval of minutes dated <br /> OF July 11 , 1979 with the following correction : <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Page 43. . .8th paragraph <br /> Statement made by Mrs. Iwamoto <br /> should read. . .I think we did. <br /> Motion was made by Mr. Trulson <br /> to approve minutes Ss corrected. <br /> Seconded by Mrs. Kobayashi and <br /> unanimously carried. <br /> COMMUNI- The following communications were considered : <br /> CATIONS: <br /> Comm. 80 : Letter from The Exchange Club of Waiakea, dated <br /> July 17, 1979, inviting commission member as <br /> luncheon speaker. <br /> Comm. 81 : Letter from Ginny Aste, Committee on the Status <br /> of Women requesting charter amendment. <br /> Comm. 82 : Statement submitted by Herman Sensano, Charter <br /> Review Commission member, dated July 18, 1979 <br /> on makeup of County Council. <br /> Motion was made to receive and file <br /> Communications #80 through #82 by <br /> Mrs. Iwamoto. Seconded by Mr. Trulson <br /> and unanimously carried. <br /> MR. TRULSON: Mr. Chairman. I would like to make one <br /> announcement regarding Communication #80. A speaker has been <br /> appointed to speak at The Exchange Club. So that part has been <br /> taken care of. <br /> CHAIRMAN SCHUTTE: May the record show who the <br /> speaker is.? <br /> MR. TRULSON:Commissioner Trulson will be the speaker. <br /> CHAIRMAN SCHUTTE : The record shall so indicate that <br /> Commissioner Trulson will take care of Communication #80. <br /> -14- <br />
