• Several funding requests were made and Hawaii County was only County that was awarded funding to support future events • Request was made to pay vendors directly, early on, as we plan in early stages for CSW projects. Focus is on host culture and how we can help native Hawaiians • April — equal pay, sexual violence day, denim day, tropic care (military exercise — free medical, dental, vision, care offered by military June 18— 28, 2018. • Saturday Kea'au High School community event to give information • Pride parade and festival is June 30, 2018 at Mo'oheau Band Stand • Women's Health month is September 2018 so advise Cyd if there is interest in hosting a project for Women's Health month. Holly Algood, consulted with Planned parenthood international and PP in Connecticut, she lives in Hawi and has her LLC in organizational effectiveness • Hawaii Women's Coalition — Bills pending Governor's action; full picture of Legislative landscape will be available after July 10, 2018 OLD BUSINESS A. Teen Dating Violence • Updated new cell phone safety cards distributed to CSW • UH Women's Center printed 5000 cards for $374.30; will be added as "in-kind" • Committee thanked Farrah and the UH Women's Center that printed 85 Real Women Essay Contest Winner's Booklets for $714 donated by UH Women's Center, these contributions will be added as in kind • Eddie Cash, Domestic Violence Awareness Committee, Mei Lee, President; Fiscal project sponsored by Friends of the Future reached out to Brooke to partner with CSW • Farrah will distribute cards • In-kind will be itemized for cell phone safety cards B.
