Sako <br />Director <br />Diane Nakagawa <br />Deputy Director <br />t✓1 <br />1 <br />Re: Multi-year Agreement with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and/or the <br />State of Hawaii Department of Transportation <br />The Department of Public Works wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement with the <br />Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and/or the State of Hawaii Department of <br />Transportation. The agreement is to receive federal funds of $249,320 for the County of <br />Hawaii Safe Routes to School Program based on the financial obligation of matching <br />funds by the County of Hawaii over the course of three years. <br />Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds and to authorize <br />the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year.
