This grant will be used <br /> towards their"The Wall That Heals—Hawai`i County"project. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to provide <br /> $45,000 to Hawai`i Island Veteran's Memorial, Inc.,pursuant to Hawai`i County Code <br /> (2016 Edition as amended) Chapter 2, Article 25, Section 2-139(a)(3)(A). <br /> The Department of Parks and Recreation requests that this resolution be waived from the <br /> Finance Committee and be placed on the January 10, 2024 Council Agenda in order to <br /> expedite this transaction.
