The draft ordinance amends the section of <br /> Ordinance No. 96 2 which allowed the creation of a Geothermal Royalty Fund by renaming it <br /> the (',Pnrhe*mal Relocation Revolving Fund. By creating a revolving fund we would be able to <br /> facilitate the purchase of dwellings which qualify under the geothermal relocation program. <br /> Under the current procedure, all funds from this account would lapse at the end of the fiscal <br /> year and would therefore have to be appropriated for the next fiscal year. The creation of the <br /> revolving fund will lessen the burden on all affected parties in appropriating the funds on an <br /> annual basis or as funds become available. <br /> Your favorable consideration on this draft ordinance will be greatly appreciated.
