The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has been approved to <br />receive a total of $50,000 from the HSCADV to implement the "Navigating a Course for <br />Peace, Domestic Violence Strategic Plan for 2007 — 2010" in Hawai'i County. In the <br />current fiscal year's budget, only $40,000 was appropriated in anticipation of this Domestic <br />Violence Strategic Plan (DVSP) project grant. The additional grant monies will be used for <br />activities in West Hawai'i. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget and increasing the <br />Domestic Violence Strategic Plan grant account by $10,000. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Office of the Prosecuting <br />Attorney. <br />Nancy E.
