o;MYY.9 f M1y' <br /> ���J%�i <br /> pp <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII :' STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 268 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 2, SECTION 24-264 <br /> OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> MOVING VEHICLES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to amend the Hawai`i County Code based on the <br /> East Maka'ala Mixed Use Development Traffic Impact Analysis Report that recommended that the subject <br /> intersection be converted to an all-way stop when the traffic volumes warrant it. The Traffic Division <br /> conducted a traffic count and all-way stop warrant study in January 2012 and found that the current traffic <br /> conditions warrant an all-way stop. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 2, Section 24-264, Schedule 12. Stop <br /> intersections, subsection (c) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by <br /> adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> ( ) East Puainako Street/Ohuohu Street intersection, all approaches. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In <br /> printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br /> and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
