BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The Wastewater Division is requesting to lease finance a 2024/ 2025 4x4 Super Dutey Truck with utility body <br />and crane tosupport the Hilo Wastewater Treatment Plant Mechanic Maintenance section. <br />Utility trucks with cranes are necessary for the Mechanics topull out and remove heavy pumps from the <br />sump pits for maintenance, repair and replacement. The crane jaused infabrication/replacement uf piping <br />sections, and provides lifting for various other heavy equipment such as blowers and electric motors.
